Nghi Son 2 Power Company Limited inaugurated and put into commercial operations the Nghi Son 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant.

The long-awaited Power Development Plan VIII will target the development of about 7GW of offshore wind power in Vietnam.

The demand for primary energy, including coal, will continue to increase, possibly peaking in the 2030-2035 period, the ministry said.
