From 7 industrial parks (IPs) with an area of 1,603 hectares in 1997, up to now, Binh Duong has 33 industrial parks planned with a total area of 14,790 hectares. Of these, 29 industrial parks (12,662 hectares) have been established, of which 28 industrial parks (10,962 hectares) have come into operation with an occupancy rate of over 90.92%, the highest in the country.
With 3,052 active businesses operating within the IPs and being home to over 610 thousand workers, Binh Duong has become the province with the highest per capita income in the country.
