By 2030, the province will consider and propose the relocation of manufacturing projects that have not completed legal procedures for operation at their existing locations.

Under the plan, projects situated in populated areas with negative impacts on residents’ living conditions, alongside those with business lines posing environmental pollution risks, will be prioritized for relocation.

After 2030, relocation will be carried out for projects that are situated outside industrial zones and clusters and are no longer suitable for future planning.

Dong Nai authorities request that district-level relocation plans be submitted no later than December 2024, with a provincial-level relocation plan to be developed by 2025.

Dong Nai currently features 33 established industrial parks with a total area of over 10,500 hectares. Among those, 32 industrial parks are active, leasing a combined area of 6,000 hectares to more than 2,000 businesses for their production.
