Vietnam's total import-export turnover in the 15 days of January reached nearly 29.8 billion USD, an increase of 1.54 billion USD over the same period last year. Contributing to the total import-export turnover of the country, FDI enterprises reached 20.5 billion USD, an increase of 0.9% (equivalent to an increase of 174 million USD), the domestic business sector reached 9.3 billion USD, an increase of 12.7% (corresponding to an increase of 1.05 billion USD).
The trade balance of goods in the first half of the year had a surplus of 384 million USD.
In 2023, the country's total import-export turnover will reach 681.04 billion USD, down 6.9% (equivalent to a decrease of 50.25 billion USD compared to the previous year). Of which exports reached 354.67 billion USD, down 4.6% and imports reached 326.37 billion USD, down 9.2%. The trade balance reached a record of 28.3 billion USD.
