SUMMARY 
 
In August, both the production and export of textiles & garments and footwear continued to grow positively. Specifically, the production index of the Textile/Leather and leather products industry continued to increase compared to the previous month, while the garment industry slowed down somewhat.
 
Most of the commodity groups achieved higher export turnover compared to the previous month, except for fabric blinds/ other technical fabric. Notably, textile fiber exports increased by 13.1% in volume and 9.9% in value compared to the previous month, thanks to the recovery of exports to China. However, the export price of textile fibers continued to fall to the lowest level since August 2021.
