SUMMARY
In November 2023, rubber exports in the month continued to recover (both in price and quantity). Output reached 253.3 thousand tons, up 16% over the previous month and equivalent to the same month last year.
In particular, the upward momentum in the month was mainly due to the markets of China, India, and South Korea. In addition, many other small/or new markets are also growing positively such as the United States, Sri Lanka, Japan, Canada, and ASEAN; Particularly, export volume to the EU decreased by 10% compared to October.
Overall, in 11M/2023, export output is equivalent to the same period last year, mainly thanks to the Chinese market. Meanwhile, export volume to other markets decreased sharply.
Vietnam's rubber market share in China in 10M/2023 increases to 20%. Unlike in China, Vietnam's rubber market share decreased in some other markets such as India (to 8.9%) and the EU (to 1.3%).
