SUMMARY
In Q2-2024, the export value of the entire industry reached its highest level since Q4-2022, increasing by 4% compared to the same period last year. Besides fiber & raw materials, the export value of other product groups to major markets also saw considerable growth.
However, it’s important to note that the growth rate of most other product groups slowed compared to Q1, except for technical fabrics. Notably, the export value of technical fabrics to demanding markets like the US, EU, and Canada has risen significantly since the beginning of the year. Conversely, exports to Japan and South Korea have declined compared to the previous quarter.
