SUMMARY
Q3/2024 witnessed a remarkable surge in total industry exports, outpacing the growth in both Q1 and Q2, reaching the highest export value of $19.6 billion in the past three years.
The average capacity across the sector reached a high of 80.2%. Notably, 36%-41% of garment and footwear companies achieved capacity above 90%. The actual production output of many items in Q3 recorded the highest ever.
Except for the fiber sector, the recovery has been weaker. As a result, the average capacity in the fiber industry and the percentage of companies achieving over 90% capacity are lower than in the garment and footwear segments.
