SUMMARY
 
In July 2022, production and export of textile, garment and footwear groups still maintained positive growth compared to the same period last year, and there were not many ominous fluctuations, but exports began to show signs slow down and need further monitoring. Specifically, compared to the previous month, the export turnover of textiles and garments in July only increased by 2.7%, while footwear decreased by 3.9%, handbags decreased by 5.1%, exports of fiber and textile fibers decreased sharply by 16.1% in volume and down 20% in value.
 
Accumulated 7M/2022, items still maintained a high growth rate, of which garment exports increased by 20.4%, footwear increased by 19.4%, handbags increased by 20.7%, except for fiber which decreased by 17.1% in volume and down 2.1% in value over the previous year.
